#D3DidYouKnow this past Sunday, November 23rd was the 5th anniversary of the Maguindanao Massacre. If you don't know what that is, now you will know..
On November 23rd, 2009 in the town of Ampatuan in Maguindanao province on the island of Mindandao 58 people were killed after their convoy was attacked. There are more than 100 suspects still standing free today and some from the powerful Ampatuan clan. Prosecutors believe the court will only start handing down verdicts next year the earliest. Just like Hurricane Haiyan, the work, memory, and care do not end after a few months since tragedy has struck. It keeps going and we keep giving and remembering what has happened. November 23rd was 2 days ago but take the time to give a moment of silence for those who have fallen and for the families. Here are some things Filipinos all around did this past Sunday to remember the victims from candle lights to art. http://www.gmanetwork.com/news/maguindanaomassacre http://www.gmanetwork.com/…/in-photos-a-quiet-remembrance-o…
