"The District Three Co-Chair position is one of the greatest opportunities that an individual could ever encounter simply because the position is like no other. As the official representative of the district, you begin to see the communities' strengths in full view. From orchestrating a network of 20+ collegiate organizations to guiding your fellow executive board members as they master their leadership skills, the position reteaches the lesson of leading with passion. Being on D3 Eboard has shaped me into the leader that I am proud to be today. And because of my experience in this organization, I found my love for the Filipino community. Thank you District Three and FIND, Inc for preparing me for a successful future."

"Going into my position as D3 Secretary, I knew from the start that I wanted to make the position more than just about taking minutes or writing documents. As D3 Secretary, I made sure to not limit my responsibilities. I started creating relationships with schools in the district, and I wanted schools to know that they could go to me, as well as, their PRs. I also acted as the Co-Chair's right hand man, to help out with decisions or with tasks that needed to be done. However, being on D3 E-board was more than just the work. On D3 E-board I found a family. By the end of my term I was able to walk away knowing that each person on that E-board changed me for the better and that I wouldn't be the person I am today without them. I learned so much on D3 E-board, about myself and about my culture. It's an experience that I wouldn't trade for the world." "What did the PRO position mean to you? What did you learn from it? Why should people run for D3 Eboard?" "Being a public relations officer was more than just networking with Filipino clubs across the district and across FIND. To me, a public relations officer held special and active roles in their communities. It was to be aware of the current issues of their communities, to educate the youth of FIND District III about those issues, and empowering and mobilizing them to make concrete changes for their communities. Our role is to connect with our Filipino communities and being a part of their struggle for genuine social changes. It is through their interactions with their communities that Filipino youth can really find their identity." "For me, the D3 Public Relations Officer position is certainly an opportunity that will not only help you network, but it's also a great chance for someone to really test oneself. It allows you to be a part of the momentous progress that is happening within our community. Through my involvement, I was able to develop many skills such as organization, professionalism, and team work. Most importantly, I am most proud of the fact that our e-board was able to inspire others to step up and become outstanding Filipino-American citizens. Seeing that we've helped a lot of people really gave me a sense of fulfillment and the memories that I have from my time as D3 PRO are my most cherished times in college. I never thought I'd meet so many wonderful people and achieve so many great things with my team. If you think you have the passion to lead with the right intentions and self-motivation to be a part of something bigger than yourself, I encourage you to run for D3 E-board. You can do it, bro."
